"Bata" is one of the ancient customs of the Kazakh people, meaning "blessing, prayer", a way of expressing good wishes and sincere intentions, which can be broadly divided into life rituals, social rituals and festive bata. Bata poems have included many important historical moments and heroic figures in them, and have been preserved to this day through oral transmission.
