"Qiaxiu" is also known as the "sweets ceremony". In ancient times, the Kazakhs used their own fried sweets to pass messages between tribes, meaning that they were united against the enemy. Later, it became a ritual that was widely used to express sincere blessings at traditional festivals, marriage ceremonies, joyous occasions, "circumcision", celebrations and birthday celebrations.
