The geopark is home to five national key wild plants under Grade II protection, including Rhodiola tetragona, Rhodiola rosea, Rhodiola rosea, Rhodiola rosea, Rhodiola rosea, and Ephedra mimosoides. In addition, there are 28 species of plants listed in the IUCN Red List of Species, of which two are in the endangered (EN) rank and one is in the near-threatened (NT) rank (stalked cystic shoots); five are listed in the CITES list; and 17 are listed in the Red List of Chinese Species, of which one is in the critically-endangered (CR) rank (green-leaved willow), nine in the endangered (EN) rank, and five in the vulnerable (VU) rank (green-leaved willow). There are 17 species of plants on the Red List of Chinese Species, of which one is in the Critically Endangered (CR) category (green-leaved willow), nine are Endangered (EN) and seven are Vulnerable (VU).
