The geopark has recorded 251 species of birds of 18 orders and 47 families. Among them, there are 9 species of wildlife under national level protection, including great bustard, white stork, black stork, golden eagle, falcon, great egret, jade sea eagle, bearded vulture and white-shouldered eagle; and 20 species of wildlife under second level protection, including black kite, brown-tailed buzzard, kestrel, short-eared owl, Demoiselle Crane, flower-tailed hazel grouse, Altai snowcock, trumpeter swan, trumpeter swan, black-bellied sandgrouse, grey crane, Demoiselle Crane, ghost owl, black woodpecker, and songbird, Long-eared owl, Eagle owl, White-tailed harrier, Osprey, Kite.
