The geopark has recorded 14 species of fishes of 3 orders and 6 families, which are Cherokee salmon, fine-scaled fish, Arctic aniseed fish, river cod, Altai true cusk, Altai sculpin, sharp-finned trevally, northern flower loach, Baikal yarrow (small white stripe), silver crucian carp, river perch (Wudaohei), Siberian flower loach, lake aniseed carps, and white-spotted dogfish, among which 3 species of Cherokee salmon, fine-scaled fish, and Arctic aniseed fish belong to the state second grade of key wild fishes under national protection.
