Giant Rock Gate(Collapse Rock Landscape)
The altitude is 1,338 m. It is about 5 – 6 m high, and the door base is about 4.5 m wide. Under
the gravity action, the super-thick gray medium-grained granite of the MiddleVariscan
period collapses along its developed several joints and forms two rolling
stones opposed to each other. The highway in the Geopark passes through the
rock crosscut, so it looks like a natural rock crosscut and named as rock
crosscut.
