The altitude is 1,400 m. The mountain is about 30 m high; the upper part is about 150 m wide; the lower part is about 80 m wide. It looks like a reversed boot seen from far away. It is exquisite and vivid; therefore, it is called as "Inverted Boot Peak". It is an isolated peak and also is the hieroglyphic stone landscapeformed by the giant porphyritic biotite granite of the Yanshannianperiod. When the rock mass rises and bassets, the running water down-cuts the mass along its developed vertical joints,so the landscape is formed.
