Haizikou Triangular Face of Fault
The altitude is 1,187m.The whole fault plane is like a
triangular pyramid, rounding in towards the top. It is a typical fault
triangular facet landform, that is the triangular mountain spursbecausethe gullies
or the valleys cut thefault cliff arranging in line along the fault extension
direction.Two fault walls composed ofthe gray granite ofthe Middle Variscan
periodare normal faults in nearly north northwest trending. East part of the
fault is the hanging wall, which relatively declines and cuts the ridgeand the
west part of the fault is footwall.
