Fuyun Airport officially launched the Fuyun-Karamayi-Aksu route.
On July 1, a CRJ-900 passenger plane carrying passengers slowly landed at Fuyun Airport, marking the official opening of the "Fuyun-Karamayi-Aksu" route at Fuyun Airport. The Fuyun County Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau organised a reception ceremony, which was attended by Yu Guangpu, Party Secretary and Chairman of Xinjiang Altai Tourism Development Group, Party Secretary and Chairman of Xinjiang Kanas Tourism Development Co.

"It's a great honour to take the first Aksu-Karamayi-Fuyun flight, before we need to make a reversal in Urumqi to come to Fuyun County from Aksu, which is both troublesome and a waste of time. Now it only takes more than 3 hours to travel from Aksu to Fuyun County, which is really convenient." Ms Sun from Aksu said.
The Fuyun-Karamayi-Aksu route runs once a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and the opening of the route not only meets the demand of the tourism market in the peak season and promotes the rapid recovery of the local tourism industry in Fuyun, but also draws the distance between the three places closer, and establishes a platform for the exchanges and development of the three places in various aspects, such as politics, economy and culture.

The opening of the route not only ushered in the tourists of "Hometown People Touring Hometown,Keketuohai Journey", but also Fuyun Zhongyun Travel Agency organised more than 20 tourists to go to Aksu and Karamay for a four-flight three-day trip. Many Fuyun travellers said that the opening of the Fuyun-Karamayi-Aksu route provides a new travel option for the people to visit friends and relatives, travel and holiday, and is more convenient and shorter, which greatly reduces the burden of the road.
